“There’s nothing better than finding a pedal you immediately click with and being inspired from the first note. I love playing my guitar like it’s a completely different instrument, and some of the EarthQuaker pedals are perfect for that. The Bit Commander, Organizer, Rainbow Machine and Pitch Bay have all been used on recent MTB recordings to create some truly unique sounds. I must say one of my favorite pedals though is the Dispatch Master. When I’m in the early writing stages of a record or song I love hooking that little guy up to a tiny micro amp and sitting on my couch seeing where my hands and the sound take me.”
